Movement of the body, Stillness of the mind. 🪷 **Language**: English *50 likes · 13 comments · 3056 views* [View this moment](https://www.hellotalk.com/moments/MNNjWSWxRavMDD.md) --- ## 2. 4/10/2025 🎾Week 1 of Learning Tennis. 🎾 I play Tennis every single weekday, and this is footage (GIFs) from the end of Week 1 of learning. I’ve been a multi-sport athlete all my life, playing Basketball, Volleyball, Football (Soccer), Cricket, and other similar sports growing up. I was on the school teams for all of them, so you can imagine how huge of a role sports has always played in my life. Because of this involvement, I’m very well-coordinated and athletic, allowing me to gain an advantage whenever I begin a new physical venture; in this case, Tennis. 🎾 I realised Tennis was far from easy though; it looks quite “simple”, but I always knew it was much harder than it looked, and has a high learning curve, making it relatively unfriendly to beginners compared to some other sports. To compare it with Badminton, a sport that more of us have played, Badminton is quite intuitive with its movements and racquet swings. This makes it generally much more beginner friendly, when put up against Tennis. Regardless, it’s been great fun so far. I’ve levelled up enough to be able to hold rallies, which are very satisfying, but I know I still have a long way to go. I find it extremely rejuvenating to be able to begin a skill right from scratch and be able to see the progress I make along the way, in real time. I can’t wait to try them all. I also plan to make a video tasting and reviewing them, in the Turkish language! Similar to the one I did for the Chinese snacks review in Chinese.
