I manage a parenting support service. For example, we run playgroups which are programs where parents and children come to play together; we support parents with parenting concerns; we run parenting courses and we also have a kindergarten. We have staff such as child health nurses, psychologists, and social workers working together. I miss Japan. I especially miss Japanese food. Fortunately, I can get a lot of my favourite food in Australia. Some of it isn't made in Japan, but it is still delicious. Also, there are a lot of good Japanese restaurants in Cairns. But we don't really have traditional food. Our food is influenced by various cultures. When I cook, I usually make Asian food, but I don't use a recipe.
