A very useful expression. in Italian is: "datti una calmata" or "calmati"/"riprenditi". you can use them when the other person is sad, anxious or angry. the difference more or less is: - for anger 鉃★笍"datti una calmata" and "calmati" ; - for sadness and anxiety 鉃★笍 "riprenditi". i.e. "you can't suffer in this way, pull yourself together!!" = "non puoi soffrire in questo modo, riprenditi!" He had the guts to face his father. 馃嚠馃嚬 in Italian we don't use gut = intestino, we use fegato = liver instead es. Ho avuto il fegato di parlare con quella ragazza.
