Lisa, a non Korean, embraced Korea and its culture. She learned almost fluent Korean and choose to release her debut solo in Korean when she could have achieved even more international success had she released an English language solo but... the love from Korea has been small in comparison. A lot of the anti Lisa comments I have seen... are hurtful, borderline or blatantly racist but also just petty. So... is it jealousy or racism? This year was smaller with covid restrictions, normally we would have 50 people to feed but I was able to still spend it with those who are very important to me. Incredibly grateful for everything. It was adorable. I love tea and different culture. I can't wait to visit authentic tea houses in Korea and Thailand! Thankfully there are plenty in Seoul and Bangkok as well as in more rural areas. Last night I was able to enjoy a nice romantic walk hand in hand with my date without crowds or drunks. Nothing screams creepy loser louder than random messages from guys of random nations who have no knowledge of the language that you are trying to learn...on a language exchange app! Have they scared all the women in their own country that they are trying to outsource?! The snow had already melted. It is a good thing that my office is closed because of the coronavirus and I get to work from home.
